Jacob had 12 sons. One of them was named Joseph. One time Jacob gave Joseph a new coat and it had many colors. One time Joseph had a dream. They were all grain, and he dreamed that his brothers all bowed down to him and he stayed up. The brothers did not love Joseph. They were jealous. They wanted to get rid of him. So they sent him with some travelers that were going to Egypt. When they got there, they put Joseph in jail. Soon they got him out of jail to tell Pharaoh what his dream meant. Back in Canaan, his brothers did not have enough food, so they had to go to Egypt to buy some food. They all bowed down to Joseph. He gave them big sacks of food and they paid for all of it. Then when they knew it was Joseph, he forgave them.
